Curated by the Munich artist duo Layer Cake (Patrick Hartl and Christian “C100” Hundertmark), The Versus Project broke not only the rule of physical distance, but also the first rule of graffiti writing, which is: never paint over another writer’s work.

The project involved 13 artists with different styles and techniques. They were asked to complete the artwork of the two curators by sending it back and forth, changing it layer by layer until a joint artwork was created. The unique style of each artist can be seen in each of the artworks. The result is a very interesting collective experiment that can be seen in the URBAN NATION project space until 30 January 2022. The second round of the exhibition with new artworks will open in April 2022.
