Project M/13: The Monster Project

The Monster Project was the 13th exhibition in the URBAN NATION Museum’s Project M/ series initiated in 2013. The founder of The Monster Project, Katie Johnson, wants to help children realise the potential of their own imagination and at the same time encourage them to realise this creative potential. For the Project M/ Edition, 70 children from Berlin were invited to an imaginative monster drawing workshop at the URBAN NATION Project Space. The children’s monster drawings were then sent to local and international artists who interpreted and redesigned them in their own style, to be presented in turn together with the children’s original drawing.
