Roberto Rivadeneira

Inspired by the architecture of the area, Roberto Rivadeneira, a Berlin-based Ecuadorian painter and muralist also known as “Urku”, transformed a 40-metre wall in Friedrichshain into a vibrant, abstract mix of bold maximalist and contemplative minimalist art with a touch of Frank Stella (an American painter, sculptor and graphic artist).

Supported by artist Gamze Yalcin, Roberto’s art is an open invitation to viewers to interact with and perceive the space in a new way.

The mural is located at Hermann-Blankenstein-Straße 38, in Berlin-Friedrichshain.
